Your Team

Jacob Hadley (Lawyer)

Part of your application may require a notary or commissioner of taking oaths. Jacob is a lawyer practicing in British Columbia and is able to assist here. He is committed to helping people through advocacy. Jacob has experience assisting clients with class action claim applications from this time during law school at the University of British Columbia. While in his second year of law school, Jacob spent a full semester at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic (ICLC). He returned to the ICLC in the summer after second year as a Summer Student Clinician. During this summer semester, Jacob’s work was focused on Federal Indian Day School Class Action Settlement claims, and assisted people across all of British Columbia. This time included leading educational sessions for other volunteer lawyers and students on how to fill out claim forms and properly draft narratives for a complete application package. Recently, he has helped with reconsideration for claim forms that were deemed a lower level of claim than originally submitted.
